At American Veteran Properties, we are excited to announce a new addition to our staff. Jenah Wieczorek has joined the staff of American Veteran Properties. She is excited to help AVP clients with all their real estate goals. Let’s get to know Jenah a little better!
Q: Tell us about your military background.
A: I’ve been a military spouse for 11 years now! I’ve PCSed (Permanent Change of Station) five times and we have done four full DITYs (moved ourselves) because we are those people. I love to get involved in the community everywhere we move. So, at every duty station, I volunteer with our local spouses’ club and the Soldier and Family Readiness Groups. Our favorite duty station so far has been Ft. Leavenworth, KS, where you have everything you could ever need in Kansas City. But we’re so excited to be spending time in the Savannah area!
Q: How did you get into real estate?
A. We have purchased two of our own homes and successfully rented them out. I thought the process was so fun that I want to help other people find success in home ownership. I’ve also worked in the industry and have many veteran and military spouse friends work in real estate as well. They succeeded in helping people find homes and create a life, wherever their orders sent them. I want to do that too!
Q: What is your real estate experience?
A. I’ve worked for a veteran owned company in the real estate industry for the past 6 years in marketing and social media departments. While I really enjoyed that work, I wanted to be more involved in the process of purchasing real estate. I finally decided to take the plunge and start helping families myself.
Q: Why do you want to help military service members with their real estate goals?
A. PCSing every few years is hard. Starting over a new place is stressful for everyone involved. At AVP, we truly do our best to help you turn a house into a home in a limited amount of time. We know it feels like you get settled, pack it up, and repeat. Military life is hard enough without the stress of purchasing a home. I want to make the home buying process smooth for families moving into the Savannah, Hunter Army Airfield, or the Fort Stewart area. If I can help reduce the stress for families buying and selling homes, I feel like I’ve done my job!

Q: What do you love about the area?
A. I’m originally from Georgia, so being able to turn on the T.V. and see the Georgia Bulldogs is THE BEST! I can’t tell you how hard it is to watch those games when you move across the country. Add in the history of Savannah, the coastal sunsets, and the people…this place rocks!
