American Veteran Properties is excited to welcome Erin Carraway to our team. Erin is joining AVP as our newest agent. She is currently serving in the military, and we know her expertise in military moves will be a benefit for our clients. Let’s get to know her a little better with a little Q&A.
Q: Tell us about your military background.
A: I am in the United States Marine Corps. I have served the last 5 years as an air traffic controller. My first duty station was at MCAS Miramar in San Diego, CA. I am currently stationed at MCAS Beaufort in Beaufort, SC.
Q: How did you get into real estate?
A: I have always had a personal interest in investing, which is what led me to real estate. What better way to build personal wealth and expand your portfolio than to acquire investment properties?
Q: What is your real estate experience?
A: I am brand new to real estate; fresh out of the gate. I am licensed in the state of South Carolina and am eager to help the expansion of American Veteran Properties all throughout the low country. I particularly understand the difficulties involved with constantly moving. But that doesn’t mean you can’t own real estate!
Q: Why do you want to help military service members with their real estate goals?
A: I personally want to help our military service members with their real estate goals because I have served myself. I understand the stressors and struggles that our military families face. I have such a burning desire to give back to the community that helped shape me into the person that I am today. I want to help make the home buying process as simple and as easy as possible for our military members. Whether their goal is to find a starter home, investment property, or a forever home, I want to help them achieve it in any way possible.

A: What I love most about the area is not only being surrounded by water, but also the history of Savannah. It is such a unique city with so many amazing things to offer. I also love that it still has that “small-town” feel.
