We’d like to introduce you to Brad Berens, one of our newest team members, through a little Q&A so you can just how he can help you in your real estate ventures.
Q: Tell us about your military background.
A: I joined the army after graduating college in 2019. I was blessed to be assigned to serve as a Satellite Communication Technician in a very unique unit (706th Military Intelligence Group) and be attached to the NSA, working on amazing missions taking place all over the world.
Q: How did you get into real estate?
A. I always had an interest in real estate and primarily real estate investing. Although I had never thought of becoming a Realtor, I took a leap of faith and turned down a government contracting job. Instead, I decided to dive fully into the real estate industry. Since then, I’ve been working hard to gain insight and knowledge of real estate–and I’ve loved every second of it! Working for American Veteran Properties was the best choice for me. AVP allows me to educate and advocate for service members. Your best interest is my top priority.
Q: Why do you want to help military service members with their real estate goals?
A. I want to provide service members with knowledge on how to build and grow wealth through smart real estate choices. Many people don’t understand they can enter the real estate market while they’re still in the service. I love teaching service members about our “Fatigues to Financial Freedom Seminar”; which helps them buy responsibly and avoid foreclosure.
I’ll frequently approach a company commander and as them if I can teach their soldiers the same information. I want to give service members and their families the best chance to be successful in achieving financial freedom when they transition out of the military. I especially love helping people understand the benefits of VA Loans. Helping members of the military achieve their goals gives me the ultimate satisfaction!
Q: What is your real estate experience?
A. I’m new to the business side of real estate but I’m fired up about it. I am constantly learning new information every day and I love it. If I get a question and I don’t know the immediate answer, I can always rely on our Broker and Owner Eric, who has 20 plus years in the business. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you have all the most accurate and helpful information regarding your real estate decisions.
Q: Why is AVP the best choice for real estate services in the Savannah area?
A. Everyone on our AVP team is either former military or a military spouse. Because of that, we all have firsthand experience regarding the constant demands the military puts on service members and their families. Q: What do you love about the area?
